Other Ways to Volunteer

bullet

 Clerical

Our Center reaches out to the community with periodic mailings of newsletters, invitations and fundraising drive information.  Volunteers meet in the relaxed environment of the Center to assist with this process, generally in the fall and again in the spring.  Email Beth for more information.

 Crafty Hands

Occasionally the Center needs assistance with the organization and preparation of materials for use in one of our programs.  This could include art project preparation, sewing, or booklet binding.  Completed individually at home or with others during a specified time at the Center, we can never have too many Crafty Hands!  Email Lois or Mary for more information.

 Guest Volunteers

The Center is always looking for individuals who may have a special interest to share with those who participate in our programs.  Musical, dramatic, story-telling or artistic programs can enhance a children’s group, camp or family event.  Email Lois or Mary with your ideas.

 Hope Volunteers

Individuals or families who have participated in a program of the Center often ask for ways in which to support the mission of the Center.  Some inspire and encourage through words which can be used in our literature or on our website.  Others, who are at least two years beyond active Center involvement, may wish to share about their experiences by speaking briefly during trainings or workshops.  Either way, the words of these volunteers can offer hope and support.  Email Lois or Mary for further information.
