Community Outreach and Development CoordinatorBeth A. Douglass earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Lehigh University and completed her undergraduate degree in Special Education from Bloomsburg University. As a trained educator, Beth has worked in public and private school settings with children from elementary through middle school age since 1985. Beth has received ongoing training from the American Academy of Bereavement and earned a certificate for Advanced Bereavement Facilitator Training. In addition, she annually participates in trainings at LaSalle University’s Nonprofit Center for fundraising and nonprofit management and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Beth is currently working toward her Certificate in Fundraising at the LaSalle University School of Business. Beth supports the Center’s growing needs through attending local organizational meetings, family festivals and health/wellness fairs that promote our Mission. She organizes details for mailings, annual fund drives and special events. Beth enjoys her varied responsibilities at the Center but especially loves to participate in planning and implementing many aspects of our summer children’s bereavement camp. Beth seeks to recruit volunteers who may have interest in sharing their time and talents at the Center.
